In this toy things spiral down and it is very easy to make. You will need some book binding wire, beads etc. Make a loop from copper wire and place two beads on its two ends. Place the loop in the binding wire spiral. The loop will just come spiraling down the binding wire. You can invert and play the game again and again. Now take two big safety pins. Apply rubber glue on the eyes and stick two safety pins back-to-back. Make five pairs of the twin-pins and decorate their ends with color tape. Then weave all these five pairs in the binding spiral wire. On holding the wire vertically all the five pairs of safety pins will come spiraling down. You can invert the whole assembly and play again. See, how beautiful they look in this close-up view.
If you place an old CD in the spiral it will flip-flop and come down. However, if you give the CD a spin before releasing it than it will keep spinning and will maintain its plane while descending.
